Hennessey Venom F5
Revolution Roadster

It is a one off hypercar inspired by the SR-71 aircraft. It stands out for its open top bodywork, an extreme track focused aerodynamic package, rear wheel drive, and a cockpit featuring a yoke style steering wheel.
This model represents an extreme evolution within the Venom F5 family. It traces its direct lineage to the Hennessey Venom GT the brand’s previous-generation hypercar and stands as the radical open top version in the lineup, succeeding and complementing the Venom F5 Coupé and the standard F5 Roadster.
Interior
It recreates the cockpit of a military fighter bomber. The steering wheel features a flat top design reminiscent of a fighter jet or F1 single seater crafted from carbon fiber with tactical leather grips. A digital display embedded directly into the steering column shows real time telemetry, including lap times, G forces, turbo pressure, and engine temperature. Laser etched silhouettes of the SR-71 Blackbird aircraft adorn the door sills and center console.
Exterior
It pays tribute to the famous Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird supersonic spy plane. The entire bodywork is finished in dark tinted carbon fiber, mimicking the thermal tiles and composite material of the aircraft’s fuselage. It features an adjustable rear wing with endplates to generate downforce on the track, a front splitter, a roof air intake, and a removable roof lined with Alcantara.
Power
Powered by a 6.6 liter twin turbo V8 engine nicknamed “Fury,” the Blackbird delivers a maximum output of 1,817 hp at 8,000 rpm and 1,617 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. With a dry weight of approximately 1,360 kg, it boasts a power to weight ratio exceeding 1.3 hp per kilogram. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 2.6 seconds, reaches 300 km/h in under 8.4 seconds, and exceeds a top speed of 435 km/h. It features 390 mm carbon ceramic brakes with forged Brembo 6 piston calipers and an independent double-wishbone suspension with manually adjustable Penske dampers.
With production limited to a single unit worldwide and an approximate price of $3 million, the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster “Blackbird” was unveiled to its owner in August 2023 at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in Monterey, California. Hennessey has confirmed that no other example will be built to this exact specification, cementing its status as a unique and iconic piece in the history of modern hypercars.
